The Ministry of Health state of Kassala announced the formation of new operation room to follow and assess situations in the areas affected by storms and r ain that the state witnessed earlier this month.
the operation room contain committee to pursue the health situation in affected areas with focus on New Halfa & the River Atbara localities.
Kassala’s Health minister Mohamed Said Barkay told SMC (Sudan Media Center) that his Ministry took all the needed precautions measures anticipating any appearance of any epidemics in affected areas.
The minister also stated that health authorities in the state didn’t not recorded any emerge of epidemic diseases in areas that have been affected by rain.
